Wallpapers & Murals in the business.
‘Brands have been using murals as a form of advertising for decades’, quotes Street advertising. They’re a great way to promote its products or services to large audience passing by reminding them about your product or introducing them. From brand such as Coca-Cola, movie premiers, schools & events etc- they can be utilized by any sector to bring awareness to an organization products/ services. However, these businesses described are mostly B2C orientated businesses, this post will look at how B2B businesses can benefit from using this form of graphic display, & generate new potential clients.
Whether your company is Insurance, Telemarketing, Accounts or Manufacture/supplier etc, they can be used to advertise and emphasise how much your client needs your product/ services- To illustrate, your business works in providing Toothpaste that whitens the teeth for a long period of time, you can use a mural to show the results your toothpaste maybe have an image of a man/woman in the back smiling beyond belief that their teeth are so white. Therefore, whenever you have important meetings with potential endorsers whenever they visit your company & see the mural it will remind them that investing in your product will be beneficial- the big pearly toothed smile on the person’s face says so.
Similarly, an ISP company can use murals to show how many people use them as their internet provider- using a mural will show potential business clients how popular you are and why they should do business with you. Wallpapers emphasise what your product can do on a larger scale.
The Pros & Cons
With every good option, there’s always a disadvantage to it & below we will discuss some of them.
- As identified by Free homes, wallpapers come in a wide range of materials from paper and vinyl surfaces for durability & finish variation this means that you also have the option to choose what material you print on as well as whatever design you want to be printed.
- Again, depending on the material & where your mural is located they can withstand damage and wear & last long.
- Whether you’re displaying the mural in-house for when prospects come in they are reminded or introduced to the product or services, they will always be a free marketing tool reminding them once again why they should do business with you.
- You don’t need to use murals as a form of an advertisement solely, but can be used to rebrand or create an atmosphere for you & your employees. It’s rather pleasant to walk into an image of a beach or a sunset- (or whatever you deem as peaceful) than working in a bland coloured room.
If you decide you want to change your design it can be very expensive. The costs of stripping the wallpaper can also take days. The costs taking off the wallpaper, design and reinstallation, from stripping wallpaper to preparing the walls for reinstallation & putting on a new design- it can be very costly thus you need to think carefully & long term when choosing the design.
Since wallpaper is applied with an adhesive, high moisture bathrooms and kitchens may cause wallpaper to peel away from the wall.
Depending on how big you want your murals, quality and materials it can be costly to design and install them Despite the wide ranges of materials to print on, it can range in price from the low end to the high end of the cost spectrum. Wallpaper on average is more expensive to purchase the rolls, supplies and to have it installed.
Overall wallpapers & Murals are a great way to advertise and build an atmosphere in your business. However, it should be it into consideration that unlike paint or Window decals once you install them it will cost if you change your mind & want a new image.
