“We should have thought of that!” a phrase that will be said over 100 times today, by one of the many hundreds of business owners who could have generated an extra income from yesterday’s events. You don’t have to be a football fanatic to generate an income from the event or be an enthusiast in any event, but it does help if you can keep up with what’s going on in your current environment, locally, nationally and globally.
Ask yourself what is going on in your local town that could be helpful for your business? What are you doing to make sure you’re part of that event? Is there a national holiday or event that thousands of potential customers will all be gathered or taking part in? E.g Mothers day, Easter, Local race etc.
The overall point is for a business to generate an extra revenue it needs to keep up to date with current real time events. Using the Premier League for example, you’re a local bakery located in Leicester, Football and your bakery are two totally different sectors- no worries. When looking at how you may generate an extra revenue and reach potential new customers you may decide to create a special XL Football inspired Leicester muffin to support their current win & to advertise you may use some cheap disposable Window Vinyls ( Window Vinyls are a great option for short run events, being cheap and easy to put on and off means that you don’t have to break the bank to advertise.) It’s all about taking opportunities- the right opportunities for your business. Think about upcoming events may be in your local area and see how you can get involved.
